Here, tourism is different. Every everyday choice is designed to reduce our footprint. Our commitment was recognised in 2025 with the Clef Verte label, recognised internationally — just 3,035 properties listed in 2026.

Everything is thoughtful, grounded and true to our values.

  • ●No plastic in the rooms: no bin liners, with all bins disinfected between guests
  • ●Quality tap water with additional filtration
  • ●Linens laundered by an ESAT supported employment organisation
  • ●Towels washed with homemade wood-ash detergent
  • ●Quality hotel bed linen, recycled into paper by our partner at the end of its life
  • ●Breakfast with 100% local, responsibly sourced produce

A guesthouse full of life and independent

Every year, guests from around twenty nationalities meet here. Merlin the cat, Gégé the hedgehog, the squirrels and all the canal wildlife share our home through the seasons.
